Left Melaka, we decided to visit one of the oldest city in Malaysia, that's Ipoh. Therefore we made a 5 hours journey by bus and arrived at Amanjaya station where we have been picked up by a private driver gently offere by The Haven Premier Resort.
Ipoh is a city in northwestern Malaysia, known as a gateway to the Cameron Highlands hill station. In the former Hakka Miners’ Club, Han Chin Pet Soo is a museum about the tin-mining industry and Hakka community. Sam Poh Tong is a Buddhist temple in a limestone cave. To the south, Kellie’s Castle is an unfinished mansion built by a Scottish planter. Southeast, the vast Gua Tempurung cave has dramatic rock formations.
The Haven Premier Resort is the most luxurious development in Ipoh, Malaysia. 3 Towers, each 26-storey high, make up 512 units of high-end luxury suites, private lake, 600m jogging path and an amazing nature surrounding the all area.
The development boasts an 8-level security system, 5-star facilities, a 5-star operation by The Haven Premier, executive shuttle service and conference facilities.
It was then time to settle down in our one bedroom suite lake view which I'm going to show you below with few pictures.
I must admit it was one of the largest and most homely hotel rooms I have ever seen. This suite room which was supposed to be a one bedroom was in fact a 3 bedroom suite. There was 1 master double bedroom, 1 standard double bedroom and 1 single bedroom. Last not at least, there were 2 bathroom and an open kitchen with anything you need. A real HOME.
The meals at the hotel restaurant have also been very good. There was a continental buffet for breakfast with both American and local dishes available and really good authentic Malaysian, Chinese, Arabic dish options for lunch and dinner. Fresh fruit, coffee and tea and juice were always available.
If you decide to relax at the hotel, you will be in for a treat. The dipping infinity pool area has got sun-loungers and coffee tables with umbrellas, where you can have tea and recover from heat. But when you dive in that pool, it's like diving in the nature surrounding the hotel. Pictures will talk itself.
