Following a few relaxing days in Canggu, I spoiled myself to a short trip to the popular Seminyak area. Completely opposite to a green and a peaceful Canggu, Seminyak promised a young party-orientated scene, trendy beach clubs that feature some of the highest DJ icons and a huge variety of trendy upscale cafes and restaurants.
I therefore decided to stay at a hotel that let me experience the Seminyak atmosphere at its best: the new hip Dash hotel, which was right in the centre of the buzz. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with design of the hotel, which was an example of a high standard chic and glam accommodation. The foyer, the halls and the pool area were tastefully presented and rich with colourful details.
My room also had a modern and luxury ambience and was extremely comfortable. What I loved the most about it was the laid-back boutique design of the room and old school graffiti-style wall paint. The hotel offered everything that you could wish for on a Seminyak vacation. There was a rooftop pool with a Tiki bar, which seemed to be an ideal location for pre-dinner hang out and sunset watching.
Famous Seminyak’s boutique stores, bars and beach clubs were just within a short walk’s distance. Consequently, after a late night in town, I could enjoy an extremely delicious lazy a-la-carte breakfast or brunch at the ground floor café.
