Spring, where could I travel?
So I’ve started to thing about few places in the world which were on my bucket list and started looking at flights and accommodations.
There was a dream destination which I knew could have been the right choice to spend the first week of April.
Maldives! It’s not an April fool.
So the 1st of April packed my stuff right after Monte-Carlo and flew to crystalline Maldives.
Landed in Male with my friends @guendalinacanessa and @Nicolaiadanza , we were welcomed from the staff from Kuramathi Maldives Resort.
Kuramathi Maldives Island far only 70 mins by boat trip from the capital is one of the biggest resort and island in Maldives. The boat trip was comfortable and well organised, fresh towel and water provided for each of us and A/C to keep us fresh during this little trip to the island.
Arrived in Kuramathi Maldives I’ve already fallen in love with this resort, the water was so emerald and clear, I could see the various species of fishes and the white sand bank was exactly how I’ve dreamed everyday Maldives.
Checked in, we were happy to stay in 2 different accommodations, a two floors beach villa and a water villa with private pool.
The beach villa had 2 floors with similar design set up, the difference was only that the ground floor had direct access to the beach and the second floor had a nice balcony overlooking the ocean and palm trees.
The design was modern and fresh, nothing was missing in terms of furnitures and I’d say it was perfect for any type of traveler, maybe more suitable for families or group of friends.
The water villa with private pool was instead the perfect choice for couples, especially if you’d like a bit of more privacy whilst sunbathing or you want to experience the real Maldives Style .
The water villa comes with private pool, private access to the ocean, big bathroom with tub hub overlooking the ocean and master bedroom with windows which can be opened fully.
The island is full of activities, restaurants and bars to enjoy a fresh cocktail or having a delicious dining experience.
There are 3 buffet restaurants and 9 dining à la carte restaurants offering a range of different cuisines for any type of occasion such as fine dining or romantic dinner or barbecue etc.
I recommend to watch the stars at Lagoon Bar where there is an infinity pool and beautiful atmosphere by night. Food wise, the Reef was my favorite restaurant to try local fishes caught on the day.
Therefore it’s hard to get bored!
Furthermore there is also a kids club for the little one and to let parents enjoy also a bit of relax whilst their kids are busy playing with the staff which will make sure they will have all they need anytime from food to activities.
The SPA is offering as well a various type of treatments and the therapists are really well trained to make sure you will be relaxing and enjoy the time there.
Last not least different diving options for who like me love exploring. You could try to dive in group or also renting a private diving experience to meet beautiful creatures underwater.
I’ve spent 5 days on this island and it was amazing how many things could be done here. If you are visiting this beautiful resort make sure to watch sunset at the edge of the island on the sand bank. It’s a real life time experience which will stay forever in your mind and heart.
Time to move to the next island!
